Det er Prinsen, der er død
On February 13th 2018 at 23:18 HRH Prince Henrik has died at Fredenborg Castle at 83 years old surrounded by his wife HM Queen Margrethe and his two sons HRH Crown Prince Frederik and HRH Prince Joachim. The Royal Household has declared a month grief for the Prince and all official activity has been canceled until March 14th and all staff will be wearing a black mourning band on the left arm. Today all of Denmark is in mourning with all official buildings’ flags on half and many private people laying flowers and lighting candles at the Danish Castles. It is yet unknown when and where the funeral will take place but much speculation has occurred since the Prince stated in September last year that he does not wish to be buried in the sarcophagus in Roskilde Cathedral next the HM the Queen. .
